Hertfordshire is full of fabulous venues and the location for the Hatfield House Frost Fair is just one of those. The Frost Fair starts on 16th November and runs until the 19th November at Hatfield House, Hatfield, AL9 5NQ from 10am - 5pm. If you missed the event at Knebworth House but want to get your entire Christmas gift shopping underway here is another Hertfordshire opportunity.
This is what will be on offer: Up to 240 stands of exciting, unusual and original gift ideas for all, with craft men & women showing off their skills. The Fine Food Fair has a mouth-watering array of foods and drink. There will be entertainment from choirs, dancers and street entertainers throughout the fair. Father Christmas is available on all four days, courtesy of Hatfield Rotary Club. You can also dine in The Coach House Restaurant, or have relaxing teas & coffees in The Coach House Marquee; there will be creative Fast Foods and mulled wine. Hatfield House Gift Shop, Stable Yard shopping will be open and you can drop into workshops including creative Christmas Decorating with flowers and greenery.
The Frost Fair will have two entrances for vehicles, one from Station Lodge (AL9 5AE) this is opposite Hatfield Train Station and the other from North Lodge (AL9 5LZ). Station Lodge is usually just the pedestrian entrance for the Estate, but for the Frost Fair vehicles will be allowed to pass. The main visitor’s gate known as George’s Gate will NOT be accessible for those attending the Frost Fair.
For those arriving to the Frost Fair on foot or via public transport their entrance is via Station Lodge.
