Harpenden Library Beast Quest

Over this Halloween season in Harpenden why not take the kids on a Beast Quest in the Library? From Monday 28th October 2019 until Friday 1st November 2019 Harpenden Library at 27 High Street, Harpenden, AL5 2RT while the library is fully open they will be hosting a Beast Quest Hunt.

You never know what you will find if you look hard enough. There will be lots of beasts skulking around the library ready to be found! Harpenden Library Beast Quest is just another lively event happening during half-term to help keep the young ones busy. All Heroes and beasts are invited to join in the library’s beast quest, all you have to do is head to the enquiry desk and one of the lovely members of staff will give you your quest card.

Modern libraries are about a lot more than just books and Harpenden Library is a fine example of a library that allows people to access way more than just books. There are also computers available in Harpenden Library and it is also possible to print documents from these machines.

A library is a big part of any local community. A library provides information to people, but it can provide education, entertainment, a sense of belonging and it can give people something to look forward to and something to belong to. Harpenden Library is open 6 days a week, closed on Sundays, and this means that it can play a part in everyday life for most people. In some parts of the week, the library is run by volunteers and there are other parts when it is run as a Library Express service.

Some groups meet in Harpenden Library including Baby Rhyme Time, Toddler Tales and Chatterbooks, all aimed at helping youngsters develop a love of reading while ensuring that parents can meet with other parents who have children of a similar age.
