Food Bank Week 1 - 5 November 2021 - update
At the beginning of November we joined the first LSL Communities Forum food bank initiative, to collect non-perishable food and toiletries for our local St Albans and District Food Bank.
James and Tom in our St Albans office started the ball rolling with the first of our donations.
And by the end of the week, all four branches had collected quite a stash.
Which we delivered to the St Albans and District Food Bank's new premises. Mark Pontin (Trustee) and volunteers took our donations to the weigh in, which was an impressive 99.2kg.
Mark was delighted, and we hope to have played a small part in helping raise awareness and supporting the charity.

In April - September this year, St Albans and District Food Bank distributed 4,755 three day emergency food parcels of which 2,325 were for children.
