Do you have what it takes for Bear Grylls’ Wild Survival Academy?

Not far from St Albans and Harpenden you could test out your really wild skills at Bear Grylls Wild Survival Academy this summer.  From Sat 29th July 2017 to Sun 3rd September 2017 at Whipsnade Zoo, Dunstable, LU6 2LF you could can test if you could beat the elements and survive in the wild?
The Survival Academy is at Whipsnade for the first time this summer where your little wildlife explorers can put their survival skills to the test with a host of challenges.  They can get involved with anything from shelter building and completing an assault course to a challenging Wildlife ID Quiz. They can learn to forage for food deep in the forest at the wild foods station and they can even learn how to track and study animal behaviour from an observations station.
Whether it’s testing animal knowledge or survival skills at the Bear Grylls’ Wild Survival Academy all activities are included in the one ticket price. In addition teams from Bear’s Academy will demonstrate how animals and humans survive in extreme conditions with live interactive shows taking place across the summer programme.
If your young people are keen to take things to another level you could book them a 2 day Field Academy course.  They can then develop the skills of dedicated field staff. From tracking animals, completing team challenges and going behind the scenes of the UK’s largest Zoo, for some hands on experiences.
