Finding activities for families in and around St Albans

When you are looking to organise something who best to ask than a mum and one St Albans mum has taken in upon herself to create  It ‘s a personal blog that collects useful information for pregnant women and parents with children under 5 years old that focuses on Hertfordshire. After arriving in St Albans this mum realised there was a host of fantastic services, activities and support available in the local area.
With the Easter holidays fast approaching and the need to find activities for the youngsters themummyspheres is a great place to look for information about Easter Egg Hunts in and around St Albans where you are spoilt for choice!  
The fabulous Eggstravaganza at Willows Farm runs from 19th March to 28th March and promises to be choc-o-bloc with family fun.  Batchwood Golf Course and Sports Centre in St Albans are holding their own Easter egg hunt on Friday 25th March from 12noon. You can of course always drop in to the Verulamium Museum in St Albans on Saturday 26th March, 2pm to 4pm and take part in an egg hunt, then make a special Easter headdress. The Woodland Trust’s St Albans Local Support Group will be running their annual Egg Hunt in Wick Wood, Marshal’s Drive, St Albans, AL1 4RE, on Saturday 26th March 2016 10am-12noon.
The Inn on the Park in St Albans on Easter Sunday has a Egg hunt on, 27th March 2016, 11am to 3pm  as does the Hare & Hounds, Sopwell Lane, St Albans on 26th March 1-5pm, to raise money for Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice. In Harpenden one huge Easter Egg Hunt takes place on Saturday 26th March 2016 from 1pm. Starting at Harpenden Cricket Club you can go on an egg hunt around Harpenden Common. There will also be an Easter bonnet competition, judging will be at 3.30pm.
