Don’t forget Hertford Museum for Summer activities

As the summer holidays stretch on, if you haven’t yet taken a look at the programme of Summer Time activities on at Hertford Museum it’s worth a look.  They are running craft based activities until Friday 25th August 2017. Each week has a different theme!
The sessions are on every weekday except Monday. Places for the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday sessions are allocated on a first come first served basis and the cannot be booked in advance although some Friday workshops are bookable.
Still to come this summer is Sun, Seaside and Sailboats on Tuesday 15th – Thursday 17th August, 10.30 – 3.30 pm (last entry 3pm), £1.50 per child. Come and celebrate the summer holidays and be inspired by the Andrew’s Family’s visits to the seaside by decorating a postcard and making a cork sailboat.
Then there are Extinct Explorers sessions from Tuesday 22nd  – Thursday 24th August, 10.30 – 3.30 pm (last entry 3pm), £1.50 per child.  At these you can put on explorer hats and travel back in time to when dinosaurs roamed the earth. Then get creative using pasta and paint to make a furry dinosaur mask.
On Friday 25th August, 2.30-4.00 pm, bookable in advance there is Dinosaur Detectives. Maximum 20 spaces, ages 7-11, £4.50 per child! In this session you take part in a sandy archaeological dig, and then make your own dinosaur poo! Perfect small person activity for the end of a long summer holiday in St Albans.
