A single point of contact
Your dedicated property manager will call to introduce themselves, assist with the pre-tenancy paperwork and preparation including safety checks.
Regular and thorough property visits allows us to assess how your property is being treated and with our eye for detail we can pick up any minor maintenance before it becomes a major issue.
With 700 properties in our managed portfolio we have built up a valuable list of reputable, reliable and accredited contractors which are all vetted and referenced by us. This helps get maintenance done efficiently and saves our clients money.
Managing the check out process
We organise the check-out, negotiate deposit deductions where necessary, evaluate dilapidation claims and deal with any disputes.

Following university, I have worked in property management for over 4 years and joined Frost’s in November 2018. I have recently completed my MARLA qualification and am keen to continue to expand my knowledge within the property sector. Having grown up and been to school in St Albans, I am extremely familiar with the area and enjoy managing a diverse portfolio of local properties.
I have worked within the property industry for 4 years, joining Frosts in July 2017. I have previously worked for a national Estate Management company, and therefore have lots of experience in block management, as well as property management. I believe that giving excellent customer service is the key to building a good relationship with the Landlords and Tenants within my portfolio.
Property Management Assistant
I’ve worked in property industry in London and Harpenden for nearly 10 years now and joined the Property Management team at Frost’s St.Albans branch in March 2011. I am currently looking after the gas safety checks for all the properties but also happy to assist my colleagues when needed . I enjoy living in and exploring Hertfordshire.
I have lived in St Albans and the surrounding area all of my life so I know the area very well! I have worked in the property industry as an Administrator for several years , enjoying meeting Landlords and Tenants along the way. I joined frost’s Property Management team earlier this year as Lettings Administrator, where I have been made to feel very welcome and part of the team. I enjoy being in a busy environment giving support to my colleagues where and when I can who support each other it makes coming to work a pleasure.

A QUICK WORD OF CAUTION
You are advised not to instruct a contractor directly except in the event of a genuine emergency, as the landlord may not agree with other reasons for a call out and therefore the liability to pay the contractor may remain with you. For the avoidance of doubt we would define an emergency as serious maintenance matters that endanger health or safety.
If you smell gas – immediately call National Grid on 0800 111 999 before instructing a Gas contractor
In the event of a power cut call UK Power Networks 0800 783 8838 (or 0333 202 2021 from a mobile phone)
For concerns over a water leak on the mains water please contact Affinity Water initially on 0845 888 5888
If your landlord has a Home Care agreement, please contact the company providing this. The most common providers are:

FOR MANAGED PROPERTIES:
The Property Management Department is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm. If the Property Management Department is closed for the weekend, you can contact our Lettings Team on Saturday between 9am and 5pm for emergencies, and they will be able to help.
Outside of these hours, if you experience an emergency concerning lack of Gas, Electricity or Water, or fear there may be a leak, please do call an emergency contractor.
