Shop Oddity

We have all heard of Space Odyssey but what is St Albans Shop Oddity? From Saturday 21st October until Sunday 29th October 2017 at numerous venues across St Albans, Hertfordshire you will be able to find out. Signing up with the kids could be a great fun activity for St Albans October half term.

A whole host of retailers across St Albans will be hiding a strange object in their window for sharp-eyed members of the public to find. To join in you need to buy a ticket and tickets are priced at just £3.50 per adult and £2.50 per child (children up to 16 years). There is also a family ticket available for 2 adults and 2 children at the bargain price of £10.

Essentially Shop Oddity is a brand new fundraising competition from the Better Business project.
Money raised through Shop Oddity will provide services to help small charities become more sustainable, such as training for staff, fundraising, writing bids, and social media and marketing advice to help them to reach new audiences - services they struggle to access due to cost and limited resource.
Shop Oddity will benefit the residents of St Albans who get to have some fun and it encourages people to discover what the High Street has to offer, promoting shopping locally. At the same time it supports some fantastic small charities throughout the district that make a big difference to the lives of local people.
