Rollercity retro day out for half-term?

With the Hertfordshire half-term holiday nearly upon us how about planning a family trip to Rollercity in Welwyn Garden City? Who does not have a roller skate childhood memory? It’s just a short hop from St Albans or Harpenden to all the fun of the public skate sessions at RollerCity.  Their roller sessions spread across age groups, skating abilities, days of the week and times, and include regular family sessions.
They have recently introduced a new unlimited skating session where you can just turn up on the day and stay for as long as you want.  They play a whole variety of different music for everyone to enjoy on their purpose-built roller rink. All ages are welcome to these sessions, so children and adults can all have a go together but if the adults just want to watch they can buy a spectator ticket and walk on the rink to accompany their children.

In the school Holidays there is skating Monday to Wednesday 09:00 to 17:30, Thursday to Saturday 09:00 – 23:00. With the 18 years and over session from 21:00. On Sunday you can skate 09:00 to 17:30. Unlimited tickets cost just £6.50 and an unlimited ticket with Skate Hire cost £8 with spectators getting in for £3.25. You cannot book online for Unlimited Skating, you just have to turn up at any time on the day and buy your tickets there.

Rollercity suggest you give them a bell before you set off on a big family day out, just to make sure there are no problems and to confirm admission prices just in case anything is unclear on the website.
