Summer term is over for another year and getting to the end of the summer term can be a great relief if everyone is a bit over tired.  If a holiday away is lined up all the better but sometimes life continues and having the kids a home soon becomes less of a joy. Harpenden fortunately has a great range of summer activity camps to keep the younger generation busy.
1Life Activity Camps at Harpenden Sports Centre offer a safe fun holiday activity camp for children aged 5-12 years, where the kids can keep busy and active and make new friends with days full of structured sports, arts and crafts.  You take a packed lunch so there are fewer issues with what people can or will eat, other essentials are swimming kit and trainers.  The Activity Camps run from 9.30am-4.30pm every day of the school holidays and they even offer early drop off from 8.30am and late pick until 5.30pm. 1Life Activity Camps are at Harpenden Sport Centre , Rothamsted Park, Leyton Road, Harpenden, Herts, AL5 2HU and they can be contacted through Tom Shadbolt Telephone 01582 767722 Email harpenden.sports.centre@1life.co.uk or check out their website.

Youv’e also got Activate Sport Holiday Clubs at St George's School, Sun Lane, Harpenden, Hertfordshire, AL5 4TD  - Tel 01785 711572 email: info@activatesport.co.uk or visit their website. They are run by Activate Sport holiday camps for children aged 5 to 16 and have multi-sport and activity courses. Courses run from 9.30am to 4.30pm with extended daily hours available of 8.30am to 5.30pm at £4 per day. Childcare vouchers are accepted, and group discounts are available for groups of 6 or more.
