There is nothing quite like a balmy night out at an outdoor screening of a film and Harpenden Common Cinema has a big weekend of screenings coming up. From Friday, May 17th through to Sunday, May 19th 2019 it’s your chance to have a taste of this experience.
Harpenden Common, St Albans Road, Harpenden is adjacent to Harpenden Cricket Club and has been A Green Flag site since 2007. It stretches two acres from the centre of Harpenden and there is no doubt that this natural scenic beauty will make a fantastic venue to enjoy the ultimate night of cinema under the stars. The screen will be on Harpenden common next to the cricket club.
Alongside the screen will be The Luna Bar with Estrella serving a full selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks including Estrella beer, Prosecco, wines, spirits and soft drinks. Hot drinks will also be available at the bar. Food will be available from gourmet partners.
The Harpenden Common cinema is made possible by Luna Cinema, the country's leading producer of open air cinema events. They say they follow one simple formula, “a classic film on a big screen in a beautiful or prestigious setting.” They use state of the art screens, digital projectors and bespoke sound equipment to provide a cinema-quality experience, but with the magic of being under the stars.
