In St Albans and Harpenden half term is on the horizon. Schools in and around the area are really good. Many Londoner’s make the move to St Albans and Harpenden to give their families more freedom. As well as great schools and there is always plenty to do during the holidays.
Coming up this February Half Term a fun event called I Spy will be running at Royal Gunpowder Mills, Beaulieu Drive, Waltham Abbey, EN9 1 JY. A great historical local resource with year-round activities for all the family.
Between Saturday 15th February 2020 and Sunday 23 rd February 2020 from 10 am until last entry at 3pm - all wannabe-spies are in for a treat. Don't let your St Albans and Harpenden young ones miss out on their chance to attend Gunpowder-Mills Spy School.
Agent Nitrate and the Spy Team are returning to Gunpowder- Mills and each day of the half-term your young ones can enjoy a mix of science, learning and fun. There are a range of science stations to try out from finger-print dusting and writing secret messages to having fun writing your very own spy story and enjoying spy-themed arts and crafts. There are some really cool spy gadgets to try out too.
New to the event this year is spy based Obstacle Course, just what every trainee spy needs to complete. It is designed to test both agility and problem-solving skills, it's a fun challenge for any age.
There are also some extra special activities on Friday 21st, Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd of February where your family scientists can discover incredible radios, phones and even a World War Two Spy Radio Transceiver. Getting out and about from St Albans and Harpenden this February Half Term is always fun with Agent Nitrate and all the wannabe-spies out there looking for adventure.
